Why donate to Montessori on Wheels®?

“Montessori on Wheels is a dynamic, community-centered learning experience for both children and their adults! Tatenda and the team at MOW have done an amazing job of blending the core of the Montessori philosophy with current research on best educational practices to create a culturally responsive delivery model that re-empowers families to be active members in their children’s learning. The beauty of MOW comes from the people. Every community could benefit from this equity-driven form of outreach!"

~ Gabrielle Holt, IMH-E (I); Program Coordinator and Adult Educator

“Montessori on Wheels (MOW) has changed the game of education by starting a motor, airing-up tires and fine tuning the engine for delivering services straight to children and families of BIPOC communities across Metro Denver and Aurora. This form of educational transportation has given many children the opportunity to experience a different style of learning that they may or may not have been privileged to experience. MOW compassionate staff conduct this most important work of “Children” by providing top-notch, cutting edge techniques of montessori education. I have had the pleasure to watch the Rungano Bus get into gear for a year now as a volunteer as well as a proud grandparent of a student that claims Rungano as her own personal learning vehicle.”

~ Yvette Crowe, Launch Network

Montessori on Wheels™  is a Joy-Bus bringing Montessori Education and a fresh perspective on learning to children in Black and Brown communities. It bridges the gaps that exist in education and allows for possibilities, stories and dreams. I am inspired and hopeful when seeing the journey of Rungano.

~ Susan Buss Roth, MECR

“Montessori on Wheels flips the script when it comes to accessible high-quality education by bringing the learning to wherever students and families are, regardless of zip code, and prioritizing access for black and brown communities.”

~ Kat Ling, Moonshot edVentures

“Responsive and Culturally Respective- I was drawn to how Rungano MOW nurtures children of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community in intellectual and social-emotional development through cross-cultural storytelling, games, and art they interact with and create.”

Montessori on Wheels™  has done an incredible job of bringing innovative, beautiful, and high-quality Montessori practices to our school campus! Our students, who may not have been afforded the opportunity otherwise, have LOVED to climb on the bus and learn with the MoW team! We are forever grateful for the mobile experience that this program has provided to our school family!
